It's May 2024 and plans for the rest of this year are slowly falling into place. On Saturday 25 May, I will be holding a living wake in Auckland for all those who can attend. Around 40 people have indicated they plan to join me and they will be treated to welcome drinks, a smashing three-course dinner, a bit of entertainment including an auction of about two dozen beloved possessions! All profits will go to Rainbow Youth to be allocated to suicide prevention. In one way or another, this has been a focus of mine for many years and their support is needed now, just as it has always been.

I have just concluded a whirlwind (when is my life ever not a whirlwind?) tour of the east coast of Australia visiting Brisbane, Sydney then Melbourne. These are three cities I know fairly well and have a number of special friends living there. What a pleasure it was to stay in their homes, spend quality time with them and enjoy each other's company. Thank you to you all - it has been such a pleasure to have met and known you. Your journeys will continue and I wish you everything of the very best in the coming years. Think of me - think of me fondly. Now who knows where that comes from? Sadly, Eric and Brian (bottom right) were not in Sydney for my visit. Also no pics of Leah, Josie, Collins and Urbain who I also met up with.
